Start with these

No bank login. So how does SubBuddy know what you pay?

Three ways in, and you choose. Every one of them ends with you confirming the entry before it is saved.

About 10 seconds

Type it

A name, a price, a renewal date. That is the whole form. Most people add their first three from memory.

Nothing to connect, nothing to authorise.

One file

Import a CSV

Export from a spreadsheet or another tracker and review every row in an editable table first.

Nothing saves until you press import.

Scans your inbox

Use the Chrome extension

It reads receipt emails in the tab you already have open, and shows you what it found before anything is added.

The parsing runs in your browser. The email text never reaches our servers.

We never ask for bank credentials, and there is no account to connect. That is not a setting — it is how the product is built.

Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask before signing up. Anything else, write to us.

If SubBuddy never connects to my bank, how does it know what I pay?

You tell it — by typing a subscription in, importing a CSV, or letting the Chrome extension read your receipt emails in your own browser. There is no bank credential to hand over, because there is nothing to connect.

See how each route works
What is SubBuddy?

A list of every subscription you pay for, with its renewal date, your real monthly and yearly total, and a reminder before each charge. It never connects to your bank.

What can I do with the Free Tier?

The Free Tier lets you track up to 3 subscriptions, view your calendar, and see your basic monthly spending total for free, forever. Premium and Lifetime remove the 3-subscription cap.

What are the benefits of the Premium Tier?

Premium removes the 3-subscription cap and adds advanced analytics, AI savings recommendations, custom alert timing, CSV import with a review step, and Gmail capture through the Chrome extension.

How does the Lifetime Plan work?

One payment covers every Premium feature, now and as new ones ship. There is no monthly or yearly renewal, and no upgrade fee later.

Is my payment information secure?

Payments are handled by Stripe, a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. Card details go to Stripe; they never reach our servers.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your monthly Premium subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Is there a mobile app?

SubBuddy works in any mobile browser today. A native Android app is in testing, and an iOS app is in development.
